The owners sold the Bass Pro Shops property for $17 million, the company confirmed on Tuesday. The sale comes on the heels of a $13 million transaction in October when the owners sold the Cinemark theater outparcel. That brings the total for both properties to $30 million, eclipsing the $25 million total that the entire Artegon property fetched in 2011.
The buyers for the Bass Pro Shops property, 5156 International Drive, are two limited liability companies with New York addresses, 5156 Bass Pro LLC and SRF LLC. The Artegon owner is FB Orlando Acquisition, which is a subsidiary of Lightstone Group of New York, which invests primarily in outlet malls. Artegon, formerly known as Festival Bay, is a shopping mall that was revamped to focus on local arts, foods and crafts. But it also has mainline retail like a Ron Jon Surf Shop, Bass Pro Shops and Fuddruckers.
