The Bass Fishing Hall of Fame’s 2017 induction ceremony included the grand opening for the hall’s first physical site, inside Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium in Springfield, Missouri.

For the first time, instead of just going home with a plaque and having information about them available online, those honored Nov. 9 left a permanent imprint within an exhibit space that includes artifacts and memorabilia such as authentic rods and reels, antique lures, replicas of world record bass, historical photos and the first Bassmaster Classic trophy.
