RICHMOND — More than 300 pro and co-anglers will take on the James River in the second Bassmaster Northern Open from Aug. 18 to Aug. 20. The competition will conclude on Aug. 20 with the final weigh-in to be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Richmond Bass Pro Shops store that is located at 11550 Lakeridge Pkwy. in Ashland.

The season kicked off with tournaments in both the Central and Southern Divisions. The lineup includes Bass Pro Shops sponsored pro anglers Ish Monroe, Jonathan Van Dam, Woo Daves and Chris Daves, among other competitors.
