Bass Pro Shops has decided to end its annual Legends of Golf tournament, a Bass Pro spokesman confirmed to the News-Leader on Friday. The PGA Tour Champions event has been played at Big Cedar Lodge in the Branson area since 2014.

Bass Pro Shops Director of Communications Jack Wlezien told the News-Leader that, in the spring, Bass Pro made the decision to not move forward with the tournament. “We’re not going to have the Legends of Golf event at Big Cedar Lodge next year,” Wlezien said. “We’re definitely committed to continuing to promote the Ozarks as a destination for golf and the outdoors. We’re in the planning process of seeing what that looks like going forward.”
