Some people are lucky at love, others are lucky at gambling, but Grant Dayton and Chevy Knight are lucky at both. Dayton and Knight took a gamble doing something they love—fishing—in a high school level bass fishing tournament, and ended up placing among the top four teams qualifying them to compete at the National level later this month.
Dayton and Knight placed third out of an estimated 400 (2-person) teams in a the FLW Mississippi River Open Bass Fishing Tournament held in La Crosse on May 19. The one-day, high school aged competition, had a five fish limit and was held in Pool 8 of the Mississippi River. The National tournament will be held in Florence Alabama, June 26-29.
