Carroll bass fishing team 46th at state

Carroll County’s bass fishing team stands 46th out of 64 teams after the first day of the KHSAA State Bass Fishing Championship at Kentucky Dam Marina in Calvert City, Ky. John Glauber and Caleb Stephenson caught a five bass limit Friday weighing 10-pounds-even with a big bass of 2 pounds, 4 ounces.


Tourney leaders Tray Hardwick and Bradley Dunaga, of Wolfe County, also landed five fish but for a total of 19-pounds, 14 ounces for a 5-ounce lead going into today’s final round. The big bass on day one was a 5-pound, 9-ounce catch by Trent Keltner and Tanner Lawson of South Laurel High School.
