For most, fishing is just a hobby. For others, it’s much more than just fun. Magna Vista’s Devin and Nicholas Page are on their way to compete in the Bassmaster High School Championships this week on Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tennessee after finishing second in the Virginia High School Championships back on April 29.

Magna Vista just began its fishing program this year and Devin and Nicholas were eager to join and get started. Devin quickly became club president. The Warriors as a school had 10 boats competing and the two brothers were together in one boat. Each team had three qualifying tournaments to try and finish in the top five in either of those to qualify for the state tournament.
