The warming winter weather last week brought forth family ice fishing. Chad Rauch of Manteno had reason to be proud. His 8-year-old daughter Gillian (above) not only landed a nice largemouth bass, but looked happy doing it. “It was literally so natural for her,’’ he emailed. “She also landed a nice catfish.’

Like I said, the weather seemed to perfect for family outings and largemouth Meanwhile, in Bolingbrook James Radford (right) and his son Justin (below) got in quality ice time. They landed quality largemouth on shiners, Justin emailed.
