Like many of you, I struggle to leave a tackle shop without something shiny to add into the box. The last couple of seasons I’ve taken up bass fishing, enough to justify a new lure box – especially for them. Could be worse, my friend has a rod collection and has abandoned all pretence of keeping his car in the garage any time soon.
I’ve definitely tried to take a complete lure collection out fishing “just in case” but that can leave you humphing gear you’ll never need or leaving out vital coffee and snacks to make room. So, while I’m building up my choices, I am trying to cut down what I take with me, trusting a smaller selection worked better to put life in your lures.
