Residents are invited to learn how to target walleye and crappie at Jumbo Reservoir in Julesburg, one of Colorado’s top angling lakes, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18. This class will give you some basic techniques and for targeting warm water fish around the country.

Participants will not only learn how to catch fish, but also how to fillet them. Instructors will prepare and offer some fish to eat at the clinic. Participants should meet in the parking area along the dam on the east side of the lake. All anglers 16 years old and older will need a valid fishing license. Licenses will not be sold at the clinic. Participants should bring plenty of water and snacks. All fishing equipment will be supplied, or feel free to bring your own.
