Fly fishing program helps wounded veterans

Project Healing Waters is a national organization that provides fly fishing lessons to veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other war-related disabilities. Daniel Morgan learned fly fishing from his grandfather, a World War II vet, and has been out on the water ever since.

“Every single day that you come out it’s something new. So you have that challenge, you have that rhythmic motion of recasting that is meditative particularly in a beautiful environment like this, so it’s really a wonderful sport,” Morgan said. Morgan is a fly fishing guide with project healing waters.
