The Gainesville High School bass fishing team will compete in the Texas High School Bass Association Regional Tournament Saturday at Lake Palestine.

Gainesville — ranked fourth in West Division of the THSBA — advanced all eight of its teams of fishermen to the Regional Tournament with consistently stellar performances, including a first place finish at the Lake Texoma tournament in February.
