Those of us who frequent the Texas roads have probably noticed the variety of specialty license plates that exist. Many of the special plates help generate funds for charities, and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is the sponsoring state agency for eight non-profit charity plates.
Particularly, one plate is a major help to fisheries management in our great state: the largemouth bass conservation plate. The largemouth bass plate has been around since 2002, but it was recently redesigned and re-released in May 2015. The newly designed plate displays a stylish jumping largemouth bass chasing a crankbait with “Fish Texas” listed at the bottom of the plate.
