Joliet Central Bass Fishing Team Recognized by Illinois Legislative Sportsman’s Caucus

The Joliet Central Bass Fishing Team was recognized by the Illinois Legislative Sportsman’s Caucus and awarded a $1000 donation on September 2nd, 2016. The donation was presented by Representative Larry Walsh Jr., of Elwood, IL. The Illinois Legislative Sportsman’s Caucus is a coordinated effort to protect and promote the sportsmen’s traditions in Illinois.


The team will use the funds throughout the year for fishing tackle, tournament fees and apparel. “We are extremely appreciative of the efforts by the Illinois Legislature to support Joliet Central’s involvement in outdoor events/activities for our students,” said Terry Piazza, coach of the Joliet Central Bass Fishing Team.
Members of the Joliet Central Bass Fishing Team are, Sean Cook, Tommy Zobel, Nathan Ballard and Aidan Walsh. Coaches are Tony Cook, Tom Zobel and Terry Piazza.
