Conditions were good for offshore outings over the weekend, however a cold front dipping down into the area is throwing a wrench into any mid week fishing plans, with plenty of wind, rain and a significant dip in air temperatures, forecast to be in the lower seventies for a couple of days before conditions start to improve rapidly for the upcoming weekend.
Water temperatures remain very warm for this time of year, reading in the lower eighties, but the fish continue to be aggressive and give anglers something to look forward to. Some rain estimates of upwards of three inches over the course of a relatively short period of time could prove to have an impact on inshore fishing for the weekend, but we’ll just have to wait and see if that pans out or not.
