Montana bass fishing champions crowned

BILLINGS – Fresh out of the lake, a few bass fishing teams are celebrating championships. It’s a branch of the National Bass Anglers Association (NBAA), which is a team fishing league based out of Oklahoma.

Montana recently held its state championship a couple weeks ago at Fort Peck. Dick and Cody Roland from North Dakota turned in 48.2 pounds to finish first. Second place went to Benny and Deb Wiles of Hardin with 14.56 pounds. Scott and Farrah Sexton of Fort Smith placed third.
