National Fishing and Boating Week is a celebration of fishing and boating, an event that highlights the importance of recreational boating and fishing in enhancing our quality of life and preserving our country’s natural beauty.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association recently thanked Reps. Dave Joyce (R-OH-14) and Joyce Beatty (D-OH-03) for introducing House Resolution 871, which seeks to designate the week of June 2 through June 10, 2018, as National Fishing and Boating Week. NMMA worked with both Congressional offices to put forth the resolution in recognition of the importance of the recreational boating and fishing industries.
