Wow, the last several days the weather has been close to perfect here in west central Illinois. We had a little much needed rain earlier in the week and the weather people are forecasting the possibility of a little more Monday and those outdoor temperatures have been pleasantly cool and the humidity has been low.
The fish have been cooperative for fishermen who’ve been out this past week. The rain we had earlier in the week added just a little color to the water and fish like to move around a little more to feed when the water isn’t crystal clear. The Mississippi River has finally settled down and is close to normal summer pools. This would be a great time to go over to the river to catch any of the many different fish that swim its waters.
