We’re just a month away from the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway and preparations are going into high gear. Leaders from all over the region gathered at The World’s Fastest Half Mile to announce the marquee events of race week.

They include a party at the Cattails at MeadowView in Kingsport in conjunction with the Long Drive Challenge. A concert at Founders Park in Johnson City featuring Kyle Petty will follow the next day. The most notable change is the return of Food City Race Night to Downtown Bristol. This year, admission will not be charged and a Ferris Wheel is expected to be on hand.
