Back and forth, round and round, finally he gets it to the top. And what is it? A common carp weighing 14 pounds, 12 ounces.
Bob Kroeger was fishing at a sandpit west of town using a minnow for bait when he netted a 4-pound, 8-ounce largemouth bass. Now this young lady Brooke Janssen, using a minnow, ended up with a large bass. It was way over 5 pounds, but I did not get a picture of it. Geno’s fishing contest is on, so if you catch a large fish, see if you will lead the contest.
