Rosemount fishing team has tough go of it in second tournament

The Rosemount bass fishing team competed in their second Greater South tournament of the season last Friday, July 12, at Cannon and Wells Lakes outside of Faribault. Head coach Jeremy Abbott said it was a tough lake to fish on and a tough tournament overall as half of the competing teams did not catch a single fish.

The team had two pairs finish in the top 10—Bryce Groves and Jordan Loranger were runners up with a total weight of 15.03 pounds—and Matt Boerboom and Ben Hoover finished ninth with 6.72 pounds. Lance Nelson and Devon Sigala took 15th with 3.31 pounds, Noah Glitto and Jack Morrison were 19th with 3.3 and the team of Justin and Collin Everman placed 24th (2.37 pounds).
