SUMMERTON – The T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) tournament season will continue Saturday, March 18, for South Carolina Division anglers with a tournament on Santee Cooper at Lake Marion. Up to 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $8,000 and $3,000 respectively in the one-day tournament on Lake Marion. The event will be based at John C. Land III Landing, County Road 514-260 in Summerton.

Santee Cooper is expected to produce some notable weights for this South Carolina Division event. Fans will likely see anglers using jigs to work through the lake’s cypress trees. Anglers may also be seen focusing on bass preparing to spawn in 6 to 12 feet of water with spinnerbaits, soft-plastic worms and medium-diving crankbaits.
