Union sponsoring UCHS Bass Anglers
The Union County High School Bass Fishing Team is about to begin a new season of competitive fishing with some financial help courtesy of the City of Union. Harwood takes silver in bass championship
Harwood Union High School students Liam Guyette and Tyson Sylvia, with the assistance of boat captain Adam Lamson, finished second June 29 in the Bass Federation’s high school bass fishing championship for Vermont. Competing against 10 teams from across the state, they were the runners-up with a five-fish limit of 14.53 pounds. Bass fishing is now recognized as a high school sport in Vermont, and this fall Harwood will field its first bass fishing team. […]
