Bass Fishing Hall of Fame cancels event in Springfield due to COVID-19 concerns

Because of ongoing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame has canceled its 2020 Induction Banquet in Springfield. Coronavirus puts fishing at city lake on hold

Normally, Salem Parks & Recreation opens the Salem City Lake or Salem Reservoir this month, but with the coronavirus pandemic and the state’s stay-at-home order in full force, that isn’t going to happen.
