Virginia to host free fishing weekend

The Department of Game & Inland Fisheries has scheduled two free fishing days Sept. 28-29 in conjunction with National Hunting and Fishing Day. Inclement weather during free fishing days in June prompted the department to add additional days. Michigan allows free fishing without a license this weekend

Free fishing in Oregon follows Thanksgiving; and again New Year’s Eve

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife wants to turn Black Friday into a rainbow weekend, then double up with a Christmas present to bring in the new year.
