The Hargrave Bass Fishing won the Team of the Year for the Houston Division from the Texas High School Bass Association for its performance throughout the season. Hargrave beat 46 other schools in the Houston Division to claim that title.

Hargrave finished seven points ahead of second place Montgomery. “It’s pretty exciting. We hadn’t won it yet because Montgomery always has a bunch of teams,” said junior Ruston Breaux. “We hadn’t out-fished them in the past, but we got it done this year.” Hargrave also has the Anglers of the Year: the team of sophomores Brandon White and Rustin Mueller. The duo beat out 306 other teams.
