USA Bass Team Competing This Week in Pan American Bass Championship

The second Pan American Bass Fishing Championship continues through October 19th. The event is hosted by the Canadian Sportfishing Industry Association and held on the St. Lawrence river out of Cornwall, ON. This historic championship is the first official international bass event hosted by Canada. It is part of a larger effort to make bass fishing a recognized Olympic sport. It will bring together anglers from Mexico, Canada, the United States and First Nations tribe.

“We are really excited about our USA Bass Pan Am team.” says team manager John Knight. “This is our largest and most talented team ever. We need to be at our best to compete with Canada and First Nations on their home waters. It is exciting to see the Pan Am make its way to Canada. This is going to be a smallmouth slugfest and I can’t wait to see the giant bronzebacks weighed in.”
